Disclaimer
bryptoflows publishes analytics and commentary on Bitcoin capital flows. This page sets out the limits of what that is — please read it before acting on anything you find here.
This is not investment advice
Nothing on bryptoflows is investment, financial, legal, accounting or tax advice. Nothing here is a recommendation, offer, solicitation or inducement to buy, sell or hold any security, digital asset or other instrument, and nothing is tailored to your circumstances, objectives or risk tolerance.
bryptoflows is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or any equivalent body, is not an investment adviser or broker, and owes you no fiduciary or advisory duty. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, and you should take advice from a suitably qualified professional before making any investment.
Bitcoin and related equities are high risk
Digital assets are volatile and can lose value rapidly and permanently. Equities exposed to them — including companies holding bitcoin on their balance sheets — can carry that volatility with additional leverage, financing and counterparty risk on top. You can lose more than you expect, including everything you put in. Past performance tells you nothing reliable about future results, and none of the historical figures on this site should be read as a forecast.
Where the numbers come from, and how they can be wrong
Every figure on the site is derived from public third-party sources:
- US spot Bitcoin ETF flows from Farside Investors
- Bitcoin prices and market data from Hyperliquid
- Strategy Inc (MSTR) treasury and financing detail parsed from filings on the SEC's EDGAR system
We do not control those sources. Data may be delayed, incomplete, restated by the publisher, or simply wrong at source, and we reproduce errors we are not aware of.
Some of it is machine-parsed. Strategy's disclosures in particular are read automatically out of 8-K filings whose table layout changes from time to time; when a layout changes in a way the parser does not anticipate, figures can be missing or misstated until it is corrected. Derived metrics — z-scores, breadth readings, concentration measures, the institutional support signal — are our own calculations from that underlying data, are not standard industry measures, and are only as sound as their inputs.
Where a figure here disagrees with an issuer's own disclosure or an original filing, the original source governs.
Some articles are written automatically
Articles in the insights section are produced on a schedule by an automated system that reads the site's own data and public reporting. They are published without human review.
That system is instructed to source its figures and to flag uncertainty rather than paper over it, but automated writing can still misread data, miss context or state something incorrectly. Each article carries the date it was published, and is a point-in-time account of what the data showed that day — figures may have been revised, and conclusions superseded, since. Treat these articles as a starting point for your own research, never as a substitute for it.
Forward-looking statements
Any commentary about what may happen next is opinion and speculation, not fact. It reflects a view at a moment in time, is not updated as circumstances change, and should not be relied on.
No relationship, no endorsement
We have no affiliation with, and no endorsement from, any ETF issuer, exchange, data provider or company named on the site, including Strategy Inc. Company and product names are used for identification and factual reporting only.
